Economic Development Authority Minutes Page 2 <br />August 15, 2022 <br />----------------------------- <br />6.1 Sale of Property at 17610 Tyler Street NW – continued from July 18, <br />2022 <br /> <br />President Tveite opened public hearing. <br /> <br />Jessica Houlihan, 670 Washington Avenue, Minneapolis, attended to answer any <br />questions regarding this issue. Ms. Houlihan is a representative of the purchaser. <br /> <br />There were no questions asked. <br /> <br />President Tveite closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Westgaard and seconded by Commissioner <br />Christianson to approve resolution 22-01 authorizing the execution of a <br />purchase agreement for sale of property at 17610 Tyler Street NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />7.1 EDA Properties Update <br /> <br /> Mr. O’Neil presented the staff report <br /> <br />Mr. Hardin presented the market update. <br /> <br />7.2 Resolution Establishing the 2023 Referendum Tax Levy as Approved <br />by Voters for a Recreational Facility to be Leased to the YMCA <br /> <br /> Mr. Mollan presented the staff report <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Blesener and seconded by Commissioner <br />Westgaard to approve resolution 22-02 establishing the 2023 referendum tax <br />levy as approved by voters for a recreational facility to be leased to the YMCA. <br /> <br />Motion Carried 6-0. <br /> <br />7.3 2023 EDA Budget <br /> <br />Mr. O’Neil presented the staff report and noted the amount of the levy should be <br />adjusted to $396,000 to account for EDA only paying one-half of analytics software <br />and HRA paying the other <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Blesener and seconded by Commissioner Beyer to <br />approve the EDA preliminary levy for 2023 for inclusion in the city’s overall <br />preliminary levy. <br /> <br />Motion Carried 6-0. <br /> <br /> <br />
