31 <br />Chapter 03 | Public Input + Participation <br />Three community events were held from <br />February 2021 to June 2022 at the Great <br />Northern Depot in Princeton and at the Fire <br />Department Station in Zimmerman. The purpose <br />of these community events was to share project <br />information, solicit community input on trail <br />needs and opportunities, and review the Master <br />Plan recommendations. <br />COMMUNITY EVENTS <br />(125+ participants) <br />SURVEY <br />(225 participants) <br />Online Survey <br />An online survey, intended to gather public <br />input and feedback on planning efforts from the <br />broader community, solicited 225 responses <br />from February 2021 until June 2022. The survey <br />solicited input on Trail needs, concerns and <br />opportunities. <br />The project team worked with the partnership <br />committee to identify and reach out to <br />stakeholders groups along the trail corridor. The <br />purpose of this stakeholder engagement was <br />to share project information, solicit stakeholder <br />input on needs and opportunities, and to <br />review Master Plan recommendations. These <br />engagement activities included a pop-up event, <br />stakeholder interviews, and listening sessions. <br />STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT <br />(150+ participants) <br />PARTNERSHIP AGENCY ENGAGEMENT <br />Partnership Committee (PC) Meetings <br />The project team met regularly with PC members, <br />consisting of city, county, and township staff <br />representing various jurisdictions that own <br />property in the corridor.
