We went to market to fill this <br />position and received 20 applications. We interviewed four candidates in May and were unsuccessful in finding a <br />candidate to hire. We interviewed three additional candidates in July and held a second interview with one of <br />them. Following background and reference checks, we recommend Jeffrey Shelby for the position. <br /> <br />Mr. Shelby worked as the athletics and operations manager at St. Mary’s Academy in Englewood, Colorado from <br />1999 to 2003. Prior to that, he was the athletic director/youth sports coordinator at Chatfield-Columbine <br />YMCA in Littleton, Colorado. Most currently Mr. Shelby has owned his own publishing company. <br /> <br />Mr. Shelby will start at step A of pay grade 8E.
