Economic Development Authority Minutes Page 2 <br />July 18, 2022 <br />S. Open Forum <br />No one appeared for Open Forum. <br />6.1 Sale of Property at 17610 Tyler Street NW <br />Mr. O'Neil presented the staff report. He stated city staff is continuing to work out <br />details regarding the purchase. <br />President Tveite opened the Public Hearing. <br />Moved by Commissioner Blesener and seconded by Commissioner Wagner to <br />continue the public hearing for the sale of property at 17610 Tyler Street NW <br />to August 15, 2022. Motion carried 7-0. <br />7.1 EDA Committee Updates <br />Mr. Mollan presented the staff report. Elk River Chamber of Commerce is assisting <br />in printing materials for Together Elk River. The Beautification Committee is <br />updating marketing materials and has shifted to only accepting online nominations <br />for the Beautification Award. <br />7.2 General Updates <br />Mr. O'Neil presented the staff report. <br />Commissioners agreed to a 2023 budget work session one hour prior to their August <br />15, 2022, meeting. <br />Placer.ai software has been ordered and training is taking place amongst staff. Due to <br />data privacy, the software will not show data for sites with fewer than 50 visits. Mr. <br />O'Neil is exploring how to work around these limitations. <br />EDA Commissioners asked that data from the Off -Road National Championship <br />held at ERX be analyzed using the Placer.ai software. <br />Orluck Industries currently has a loan through the city on two pieces of equipment. <br />Another entity in Elk River would like to take over the equipment and loan. Mr. <br />O'Neil will have more details at the August 15, 2022, EDA meeting regarding <br />changes to the agreement including assigning responsibility for repayment. <br />President Tveite asked that the EDA preserve the same security interest in the <br />equipment with the new company. <br />
