Fischer, Environmental/Special Projects Director <br />Re: FEMA Response to 15488 Fillmore St. NW Request - Community No. 270436 <br /> <br />The FEMA letter dated 7.27.2022 documents that the structures on parcel (Lot 3, Block 1, Avon <br />Acres 3rd Acres Addition), have been removed from the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), <br />and the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). Those being areas inundated by a flood having a 1% <br />change of being equaled or exceeded in any given year. <br /> <br />This is a revision from the previous NFIP regulatory floodway and the SFHA. The Federal <br />mandatory flood insurance requirement does not apply. However, the lender has the option to <br />continue the flood insurance requirement to protect its financial risk on a loan. <br /> <br /> <br />
