That Chapter 74, <br />Section 74-93 shall be amended as <br />follows: <br />Sec. 74-93. Impoundment of <br />vehicles. <br />Any police officer may remove a <br />vehicle from a street or public park- <br />ing lot, including public park park- <br />ing lots, to a garage or other place <br />of safety when the vehicle is left <br />unattended and constitutes an ob- <br />struction to traffic or hinders snow <br />removal or street improvement <br />or maintenance operations. Such <br />vehicle shall not be released un- <br />til the fees for towing and storage <br />are paid, in addition to any fine im- <br />posed for violation of this chapter. <br />SECTION 2.
