HIGHWAY 10 CORRIDOR STUDY - FINAL REPORT
Figure 29. Grade -Separated Alternative — North Segment
dig I ''' ' • , r '
"Southern grade -separated
location to be determined
South Segment
In the south segment of the Highway 10 corridor, four locations for grade -separated access were
explored. These locations included the Kelly Farm Road Area, Jarvis and Cleveland Street, Adams Street
and Alpine Drive. All south segment alternatives assumed an interchange at Twin Lakes Road.
Several interchange types were evaluated for each location mainly focusing on a standard diamond or
folded diamond interchange type. These options were developed (see Figure 30through Figure 33) at
a conceptual level to better understand potential impacts. These concept layouts are also in
AppendixE.
As noted previously, the concept alternatives do not indicate a directive or design that must be
implemented, but reasonable alternatives that help to set the vision for future access at each
location. Additional detailed analysis, review, and environmental consideration will need to be
conducted in the future to determine specific design options for each location.
Kelly Form Rood Area
The Kelly Farm Road Area alternative is located approximately 1/2 mile south of the existing Kelly
Farm Road access. The concepts developed (see Figure 30) for this location show minimal impacts
to current building and residential properties. However, the Kelly Farm Road area was the least
desirable location for grade -separated access on Highway 10 as it is the closest to Twin Lakes Road
and does not align with the city's future planning vision for the area.
a Hway
E Page 47
