GENERAL BUSINESS <br />General action items in which the City Council receives information from city staff or consultants and after deliberation acts on the item under <br />consideration. General Business items are not opportunities to receive or provide public input. However, the City Council may, at its sole <br />discretion, solicit public feedback. <br /> 8.1 Ordinance Amendment: City Code Section 30-793 Regarding Accessory <br /> Buildings, City of Elk River <br /> <br /> 9. WORK SESSION <br />Work Sessions are less formal meetings of the City Council to encourage dialog between themselves, staff, consultants and invited members of <br />the public. The Council does not typically take official action on items under discussion. At the conclusion of a discussion, a simple Council <br />consensus provides staff direction for execution of the item.
