City of <br />Elk -�-� <br />RiVer <br />City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 22- <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Amending the <br />Comprehensive Plan to Change the Land Use from Mixed Residential to <br />Neighborhood Commercial <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, ChapteY 462.355, Subdivision 2, pYescribes the pYoceduYe <br />for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 24, 2022, and <br />recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the <br />property described as: Outlot F, ELK RIVER STATION, SheYbuYne County; MN, and <br />WHEREAS, the Cit�r Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request <br />and finds the following: <br />1. The proposed land use is consistent with the surrounding land uses. <br />2. The use would not have adverse impacts on the surrounding land uses. <br />3. The proposed changes aYe in general conformance to the adopted <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED b�T the CityT Council of the CityT of Elk <br />River,l�linnesota, as follo�us: The Land Use Plan be amended to change the propertyT as <br />described above from Traditional Single-FamilyT Residential to iVlixed Residential. <br />Passed and adopted this 20`i' day of June 2022. <br />John J.
