I build and operate sUAS or <br />small unmanned aircraft systems otherwise more commonly known as "drones". <br />I am also a former resident of ER and graduate from ERHS- class of 2004. 1 currently reside in <br />Minneapolis. <br />Over a year ago I reached out to the staff at Envision to see if I could come down from Minneapolis and <br />chase a race truck around the track and capture footage to submit to Champ Off Road. In doing so I was <br />granted jobs with Champ that lead to many more opportunities related to motorsports. In fact, next <br />week I will be working my first job with Formula 3 in Road American, a legendary race track in <br />Wisconsin. <br />Because the people at Envision were kind enough to allow me to show up that one day in Spring of <br />2021, 1 have been able to continue to pursue my dreams and live a happier life doing what I love to do. It <br />is clear to me that ERX provides jobs and allows people to meet and grow in ways that are very <br />meaningful and important to building a healthy career. <br />Furthermore, from seeing Elk River grow since the early 1990's until current day. I can say that ERX is <br />probably the coolest, most exciting thing to happen to Elk River and I hope the city allows it to continue <br />to be that and much more. <br />Thanks for your time and consideration.
