I do understand the concerns of the community, but I also feel that the
pros outweigh the cons.
Events are not held on a daily basis and are not a constant inconvenience to the community.
The events held at ERX are actually a benefit to the whole community. We travel roughly 2-
1/2 hours one way so that our kids can race/ride snowmobiles. If ERX was not allowed to
operate, my family would not have a reason to visit Elk River and patronize other businesses
there.
ERX is also important to me because it is a safe facility to bring my kids to, so they are able
to participate in activities and events that are already limited in our state.
This not only provides them with the opportunity to race, but it has also brought our family
back together doing something we love.
It has our son off of his videogames and in the garage working on his sleds to get them
ready for race day at ERX. As some of you can imagine, in this day and age, that is a HUGE
deal.
Lets keep the track open for the community, the kids and the families.
Breanna Olson
Julia Olson
David Olson
