7.2c
From: Jeff Vander Sanden
Sent: Monday, May 16, 2022 3:18 PM
To: Portner, Cal <Cpprtn_ r( EIklF iverlMNegov_>; Leeseberg, Chris <CILe s _ r,,@ElkRiverMN. ov>;
hgoodin()envisioncomgany.com
Subject: public comment
To whom it may concern,
Please get all the facts and information before considering rebuking the conditional use permit for the
ERX facility. This facility provides millions of dollars to local economy throughout the year. It brings
many people to Elk River to support the small town. Even though it may not provide many outright jobs;
it does keep the economy strong. As a fan of all types of racing, I realize venues are extremely hard to
develop and keep active. The operators of this facility have spent countless hours preparing the track
and grounds to make it an experience for the racers, kids, fans, and the snowmobiling community. The
owner of the ERX does understand that there are some traffic concerns and noise levels that need to be
addressed. This is a primary concern, and they want to be a friend of the local community.
With all respect, there is always someone trying to ruin a good thing. Please make a smart decision in
regard to the future of the ERX facility.
Thanks
Jeff Vander Sanden
"Concerned fan"
