City Council Minutes Page 3 <br />May 16, 2022 <br />good place for kids and families and the city should focus on the positives they <br />promote. <br />Rick Wynn, 21587 Brook Road — Noted most people speaking in support of ERX <br />tonight don't live in Elk River. He stated the noise must be cut back, noting the <br />speaker system is loud. <br />Alesha Kuhlmann, 22238 Johnson Street — Stated she supports ERX and <br />appreciates what they do but they need to be more considerate of the noise issues. <br />She is opposed to the extended hours. <br />Taven Woodie, 22281 Highway 169, (bloodies Towing and Transport) Milaca — <br />Stated people who attend ERX are having fun and she wishes neighbors could see <br />what she sees, with the hard work and benefits. She stated she is at the track daily for <br />snocross. <br />Dale Cazett, 11452 Brook Road — Expres^concerwiththe proposed ERX <br />access to Brook Road and how it will affect his adjacent property citing traffic and <br />noise. <br />Dave Solors, 21538 Brook Road — Stated some vehiVare uch quieter when they <br />have factory exhaust and suggested the be required. <br />JohnJohnHanson, 11412 Brook Roa Stated ile noise isn't too bad except when <br />Hanson, 11412 Brook Roa <br />certain vehicles are operating. He is''opposed to changing the access to Brook Road <br />citing the safety of the curviness of the road. <br />Lora Wynn, 21587 Brook Road — Questioned what future is planned by ERX for <br />their recent purc the Lemmon property (11369 Brook Road). <br />Mr. Leeseberg stated the parcel is not currently zoned for motor cross racing and not <br />part of the application under consideration this evening. <br />Kimberly Woodie, 22281Highway 169, (bloodies Towing and Transport) Milaca <br />Stated the track makes noise but brings racing families together. She stated the noise <br />ends at night due to no lighting being available. <br />Carol Staples, 11337 Brook Road — Stated her property is surrounded by ERX and <br />there are good and bad things about ERX and much of it is about being respectful. <br />She stated the noise doesn't bother her, but she is opposed to the access being <br />moved to Brook Road. She expressed concerns with property values. <br />Todd Roskaft, 22068 Brook Road — Stated he is opposed to the Brook Road access <br />due to extra traffic and noise.
