City of Elk River <br />Financial Analysis <br />General Fund — Revenues and Expenditures <br />The following table and graph show the overall operations of the General Fund. Revenues have <br />fluctuated over the five years shown from a high in 2021 of $15,633,492 to a low of $13,124,692 in <br />2017. Overall, from 2017 to 2021, revenues have increased $2,508,800. Revenues increased by <br />$976,798 when comparing 2021 to 2020. Similarly, expenditures have fluctuated over the five years <br />presented. In 2021, expenditures were $16,829,600, an increase from the prior year of $1,214,919.
