Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission Minutes Page 3 <br />December 2, 2021 <br />----------------------------- <br />Commissioners discussed what night would work best for all to gather. It was <br />decided that with the second Monday of each month, the Commissioners could <br />avoid most conflicts that would arise throughout the year. <br />The commission members were in favor of changing the MPF Advisory <br />Commission 2022 Meeting Schedule to the second Mondayof each monthat 6:30 <br />p.m. <br />Moved by Commissioner Williamsand seconded by Commissioner Peterson <br />to approve the following, MPF Advisory Commission 2022 Meeting Schedule. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br />8.Superintendent Updates <br />Mr. Dalton provided anupdate of what has been going on with the FTCenter. <br />Naming rights branding completed in Kiser Construction Arena <br />Elk River Hockey logo installation in Kiser Construction Arena <br />Staff challenges for the high school hockey games <br />High school boosters hired a student to do the videoboard during games <br />High school locker rooms are now being utilized <br />MN Wild Youth Hockey Spotlight Game on 12/15/2021 <br />Serrano Brothers Cafépreparation continues <br />ERYHA providing temporary concession stands during high school hockey <br />games <br />Children misbehaving in the facility, resulted in being expelled <br />Continue to work with iBackCheck for agreement on the lease space <br />Walking track hours <br />Revenue Management <br />o All facility rentals will have to be paid in full at time of reservation <br />Senior Activity Center amid its 2022 Membership Drive <br />First Holiday Makers Market takes place on Saturday, December 4, 2021 <br />9.Announcements <br />Chair Williams remindedthe commission membersto reapplyfor their positions. <br />The MPF Advisory Commission is continuing to search for an at large <br />representative. Commissioners discussed bringing to council of having an at large <br />representativethat is out of a category for more than two years but less than five <br />years, to help get more applicants. <br />10.Adjournment <br />
