4. Performs light dut�r grounds maintenance. A. Clears snow from parking lots, sidewalks, and entrance areas of cit�T facilities. B. Assists in coordinating and performing summer turf and landscaping maintenance and upkeep. 5. PeYfoYms otheY essential job duties. A. Regular and timelyT work attendance. B. Follo�vs all safety procedures. C. Participates in safetyT training and provides safetyT training for staff. D. Maintains SDS records for applicable products. E. Coordinates and performs set-ups for meetings (tables, chairs, etc.). F. Assists in developing and managing the facilities maintenance budget. G. Assists the emergencyT management director with maintenance on earlyT `varning sirens. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ❑ Kno`vledge of and experience in the practices, procedures, equipment, chemicals and materials used in building maintenance Kriowledge of basic maintenance work (including carpentryT, diesel powered standby generators, plumbing, electrical and heating syTstems). ❑ Kno`vledge of basic computer functions and computerized climatic control s�Tstem. ❑ Skilled in the safe operation of hand and power tools and building maintenance equipment. Requires the ability- to wear and use all safenT equipment as necessary-. ❑ Skilled in the safe operation of motorized equipment. ❑ Abilit�J to work independently and prioritize duties. ❑ Ability to establish and maintain effective `vorking relationships with co`vorkers, vendors and the public. ❑ Ability to read, understand, and follo`v written and oral instructions, including safetyT rules. ❑ Ability to comprehend, calculate, problems solve, and consult relevant sources and manuals. ❑ AbilityT to lift and carryT heavy objects, climb, crawl, stand, bend, reach, and manipulate objects and equipment requiring manual dexterityT as needed to perform duties. ❑ AbilityT to perform strenuous phyTsical labor under adverse environmental conditions. ❑ AbilityT to supervise employTees. ❑ AbilityT to lift 50 pounds. Minimum Qualifications ❑ High school diploma or equivalent. ❑ Valid driver's license and good driving record. ❑ State of Minnesota Special Boiler's license or ability to obtain `vithin 60 dayTs of hire. ❑ Basic computer skills. ❑ Three yTears of building maintenance and cleaning experience. ❑ One year of supervisoryr experience (diYect supervision, team/shift lead, or directing and overseeing work assignments to other staf�. Preferred Qualifications ❑ Class B Commercial Driver's License. ❑ Current State of iVlinnesota Boiler's license above minimum required. ❑ Computer based HVAC control system experience.
