<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />10/5/88 <br /> <br />Ron Johnson questioned off street parking in the area. <br /> <br />Blaze Kraljic questioned police enforcement policy with regards to speed <br />on Gates. Steve Rohlf explained police policy on this matter. <br /> <br />Joe Crawford of 497 Gates Avenue stated he would rather not have the <br />project go in but he accepts the fact that something will be built on the <br />site. He also stated that he feels comfortable with the project and <br />commended the developer and the City. <br /> <br />Carol Mills, Guardian Angels stated that Guardian Angels are concerned <br />about headlights shining onto their property. She also commended the <br />developer and City. <br /> <br />Blaze Kraljic questioned who would pay for utility assessments, whether <br />the area was a DNR designated wetland, and why the area was zoned R-4 in <br />the first place. <br /> <br />Carol Mills stated that Guardian Angel are concerned about the storm <br />sewer situation on Evans. <br /> <br />Lisa Hudson stated that she has small children and is worried about the <br />traffic on Gates. <br /> <br />Jerry Schroeder stated he would like to see building No. 6 eliminated. <br /> <br />Chairman Kropuenske questioned whether or not building No. 6 could be <br />eliminated and replaced with a park. <br /> <br />Sid (CHW) explained the different possibilities for building No.6. <br /> <br />Joe Crawford questioned whether or not building No. 6 could be eliminated <br />and No. 5 and NO. 7 enlarged. <br /> <br />Blaze <br />l~e <br />would <br /> <br />Kraljic stated that he does not want apartments to go in, he would <br />to see No. 6 eliminated, as he didn't like cedar siding, and he <br />have preferred it if the developers were from Elk River. <br /> <br />Pat questioned what kind of guarantee they would have of the quality of <br />the buildings. <br /> <br />There being no one else wanting to address this matter, the public <br />hearing was closed at 8:16 p.m. <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf, B & Z <br />galvanized roofs on the <br />discuss the matter with <br /> <br />Administrator, questioned the developers abou the <br />adjacent property. The developer stated he would <br />his partners. <br />
