Conditional Use Permit/Elk River Fire Department/Public Hearing Steve Bjork explained that the Elk River Fire Department located at 415 Jackson Avenue is requesting a conditional use permit to construct a new addition (4.088 sq. ft.) to the existing fire station. The new addition will be used to house the new aerial ladder truck. Municipal fire stations are classified as governmental buildings.
