Housing and Redevelopment Minutes <br />February 7, 2022 <br />Page 3 <br />Commissioner Ovall asked to hear from city departments such as police and code <br />compliance to address current needs happening in our city. What opportunities do they see <br />out in the neighborhoods that are a need and how can the HRA provide support? <br />7.5 General Updates <br />Mr. O'Neil presented the staff report. <br />The HRA Commission discussed the traffic study suggestion by the Planning Commission <br />for the Main and Gates project and wondered if it would be accurate considering the 169 <br />Redefine project. <br />Mr. O'Neil indicated the Planning Commission's suggestion for a traffic study was for a <br />bigger picture understanding of what impacts adding this type of project would be to an <br />already busy street and considering its location between two major highways and railroad <br />tracks. <br />Commissioner Ovall stated he was surprised the Planning Commission was open to mixing <br />residential and commercial. <br />Mr. O'Neil stated he could provide information regarding the outcome of that meeting by <br />forwarding a link to view the meeting and the meeting minutes. <br />8.
