Planning <br />Intern, Catherine Schmidt, Recording Secretary. <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning <br />Commission was called to order at 7 p.m. by Chairman Tveite. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MINTON MOVED TO APPROVE THE 8/23/94 PLANNING <br />COMMISSION AGENDA. COMMISSIONER EBERLEY SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioner Minton noted that Item 3, paragraph 2 should state: Commissioner <br />Kreger "moved to approve" the 6/28/94 Planning Commission minutes. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MINTON MOVED TO APPROVE THE AMENDED 7/26/94 PLANNING <br />COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER KUESTER SECONDED THE MOTION. Shiely Company requested a conditional <br />use permit for mineral excavation and processing on approximately 200 acres. <br />The subject site is 1/4 mile west of Proctor Avenue, on the south side of County <br />Road No. 33. Mr. Rohlf stated that staff is requesting the hours of operation <br />remain as per City code and not be extended as Shiely Company is proposing. <br />
