Ms. Tyson stated the house would be condemned without a septic <br />system. <br /> <br />Chair Dillon opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mark Olson, 18778 Yankton. Mr. Olson noticed the problem. Mr. Olson is in favor <br />of a new septic. Mr. Olson stated another option is to purchase the City's alley <br />way. Mr. Olson's main concern is that it does not run off into the river. <br /> <br />Chair Dillon closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MINTON MOVED THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMEND <br />APPROVALOF THE REQUEST FOR VARIANCE BY DIANE TYSON, PUBLIC HEARING <br />CASE NO. V 96-4, BASED ON THE FINDINGS IN THE STAFF REPORT, AND THE FACT <br />THERE WAS NO OPPOSITION DURING THE PUBLIC HEARING, SUBJECT TO THE <br />FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. ADJACENT PROPERTY WILL BE PURCHASED AND COMBINED WITH THE <br />EXISTING LOT FOR LOCATION OF THE DRAIN FIELD. APPLICANT WILL <br />PROVIDE THE CITY WITH A COPY OF THE LOT COMBINATION PRIOR TO <br />RECEIPT OF A BUILDING PERMIT. <br /> <br />2. SEPTIC SYSTEM WILL BE CONSTRUCTED ACCORDING TO THE CONDITIONS <br />OUTLINED IN THE LETTER FROM JON CHRISTENSEN. <br /> <br />3. THE TOP GRADE OF THE SEPTIC SYSTEM WILL BE GRADED AWAY FROM THE <br />ELK RIVER. <br /> <br />4.
