Elk River City Government
Hi there Mark. Lea - Thank you for reaching out!
The proposed trail was approved as a part of long-
term planning and the most cost-efficient time to
do it is in conjunction with the Sherburne County •••
road project. The city is continually seeking
opportunities to connect trails in more densely
populated areas as opportunities to purchase the
needed right of way arises.
Like
 Mark Lea
Elk River City Govemment i agree to a point.
Park n Rec does not have the money nor does
the City of Elk River. When they updated the
west side of Cty 33 up to Auburn st, why did
they not put the trail in that section while
under construction?
The city has way more highly densely
populated inner city area that could use these
funds( that do not exist) far better than in
outer rural Elk River area
Lake Reply Hide Send Message 4n
