UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO:FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Thomas Geiser – Operations Director <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />January 11,2022 6.1g <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> Staff has been attending meetings with Sherburne County to plan for theCounty Road <br />44 project. <br /> I will be helping to conduct interviews for the journeyman lineworker and customer <br />service managerpositions during the week of January 3. <br /> Working with the City of Otsego and a developer on how to bring power to a <br />development that is in ERMU’s service area but quite some distance from any existing <br />power source. <br /> <br /> Creating plans and ordering materials and equipment for projects that we know will be <br />occurring in the next year. <br /> <br />th <br /> Staff will be working on tearing down the overhead lines along Highway 169 at 197 <br />Avenue, SchoolStreet, and MainStreet. <br /> <br />Three streetlight poleshad to be replaced afterthey were struck by vehiclesduring the <br />snow events we hadin the past month. <br /> Carr’s Tree Service began tree trimming for us on Monday, January 3. They will be <br />working along County Road 35, County Road 1, and Highway 169 among other locations <br />throughout the season. <br /> <br /> This month we will start working on phase two of the County Road 35 rebuild. <br /> <br /> ERMU received the new 2022 digger derrick truck, which will replace our 2001 digger <br />truck. <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />144 <br />
