The commission members were not in
favor of having the Fire Exit Door become an entrance into the Senior Activity
Center. Commission members reasoning for not being in favor are, the Fire Marshal
indicated that use of that door as an entry was not allowed under state fire codes, not
up to ADA requirements, no vestibule, no crosswalk outside the door, no handle on
the door, and it does not align with our facility safety guidelines, we utilize a single
common entry for the entire facility to maintain control over entry. Additionally, the
commission was not in favor of making physical changes to the facility, to
accommodate a facility entry at that location.

Moved by Commissioner Peterson and seconded by Commissioner Hecker to
not approve the request to utilize fire exit door for entry in senior activity
center. Motion carried 7-0.

7.2 Determine MPF Advisory Commission 2022 Meeting Schedule

Chair Williams presented to the Advisory Commission to move our 2022 Meeting
Schedule to the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The commission
members were in favor of changing the MPF Advisory Commission 2022 Meeting
Schedule to the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

Moved by Commissioner Williams and seconded by Commissioner Peterson
to approve the following, MPF Advisory Commission 2022 Meeting Schedule.
Motion carried 7-0.

8.
