City of <br /> Elk*� City of Elk River <br /> River Planning Commission <br /> Resolution 21-04 <br /> A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Elk River <br /> Concerning Development District No. I and a Proposed Tax Increment <br /> Financing District of the City of Elk River, Minnesota <br /> WHEREAS, the proposal by the City of Elk River,Minnesota to amend the Development <br /> Program for Development District No. 1 (the "Program") to reflect additional public <br /> development and redevelopment costs and activities, establish Tax Increment Financing <br /> District (Housing) No. 28 Uackson Hills Phase II Housing Project) (the "TIF District") <br /> within Development District No. 1, and adopt the Tax Increment Financing Plan relating <br /> thereto (the "TIF Plan" and,together with the Program, the "Project"),all pursuant to and <br /> in conformity with applicable law,including Minnesota Statutes, 469.124 to 469.133 and <br /> Sections 469.174 to 469.1794, as amended (the "TIF Act"),has been submitted to the City <br /> of Elk River Planning Commission (the "Commission"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed the Project to determine the consistency of the <br /> Project with the comprehensive plan for the City of Elk River; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission's review of the Projects relates solely to <br /> compliance with the TIF Act. The Planning Commission shall undertake a detailed review <br /> of the proposed plans described in the TIF Plan as part of the City's normal planning <br /> process on a later date. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> Elk River,Minnesota,as follows: the Project is consistent with the comprehensive plan for <br /> the City of Elk River and conform to general plans for development or redevelopment of <br /> the City as a whole. <br /> Passed and adopted this 215`day of December 2021. <br /> Perry Beise,Vice-Chair <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Tina Allard, City Clerk <br /> UREJ <br />
