City of Elk*� City of Elk River River Planning Commission Resolution 21-04 A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Elk River Concerning Development District No. I and a Proposed Tax Increment Financing District of the City of Elk River, Minnesota WHEREAS, the proposal by the City of Elk River,Minnesota to amend the Development Program for Development District No. 1 (the "Program") to reflect additional public development and redevelopment costs and activities, establish Tax Increment Financing District (Housing) No. 28 Uackson Hills Phase II Housing Project) (the "TIF District") within Development District No. 1, and adopt the Tax Increment Financing Plan relating thereto (the "TIF Plan" and,together with the Program, the "Project"),all pursuant to and in conformity with applicable law,including Minnesota Statutes, 469.124 to 469.133 and Sections 469.174 to 469.1794, as amended (the "TIF Act"),has been submitted to the City of Elk River Planning Commission (the "Commission"); and WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed the Project to determine the consistency of the Project with the comprehensive plan for the City of Elk River; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission's review of the Projects relates solely to compliance with the TIF Act. The Planning Commission shall undertake a detailed review of the proposed plans described in the TIF Plan as part of the City's normal planning process on a later date. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Elk River,Minnesota,as follows: the Project is consistent with the comprehensive plan for the City of Elk River and conform to general plans for development or redevelopment of the City as a whole.
