Sherburne Wright Cable Commission <br />Meeting Minutes from 4-22-21 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />5. Equipment Report <br />Bill Bruce provided the April 2021 equipment report. Mr. Bruce noted that they have been <br />removing old cable boxes from the cities and replacing TVs. An inventory of each city’s <br />equipment replacement is being inventoried. <br />He presented the various system upgrades of Council Chambers in the county. He highlighted <br />that may cities’ conference rooms were upgraded to facilitate meetings via Zoom, Go To <br />Meeting, Teams, etc. There was a brief overview of how the equipment, cameras, <br />microphones, and wireless fobs, work. The systems are easy to use and were installed in <br />Delano, Elk River, Buffalo, Monticello, Big Lake and Rockford. <br />Mr. Bruce requested that cities provide the dates of their Movie in the Park events. Cities were <br />instructed to email Jackson Groskreutz of their dates and copy Mr. Bruce in order for them to <br />create a Movie in the Park calendar. <br />Elk River requested example policy for drone use within city limits. Mr. Bruce noted that <br />Cokato requested used of a drone to fly over the city for website content. <br />Mr. Bruce state that the cities of Cokato and Watertown and requested live streaming service. <br />The cost would include a $4,595 one time fee with a $1,788 annual fee. <br />Commissioner Fineran made a motion to approve live streaming service for Cokato <br />and Watertown. Seconded by Commissioner Bodin, unanimous ayes, motion carried. <br />6. Production Report <br />Production Coordinator Jackson Groskreutz updated commissioners on activities since the <br />last meeting. Production was less due to the pandemic. He noted that he would like to expand <br />on doing work for events and festivals. <br />7. Personnel Committee <br />Commissioner Wolbeck reported that an annual review was completed for Jackson <br />Groskreutz. Five of the 10 cities responded with positive comments. Ms. Wolbeck noted the <br />goals and objectives established by the Personnel Committee. <br />Commissioner Fineran made a motion to approve the goals and objectives for video <br />projection for Jackson Groskreutz. Seconded by Commissioner Boese, unanimous <br />ayes, motion carried. <br />Commissioner Bodin made a motion to approve a step increase to Step 2 City of <br />Buffalo pay scale retro-active to October 2020 for Jackson Groskreutz. Seconded by <br />Commissioner Wolbeck, unanimous ayes, motion carried. <br />8. Adjourn - Meeting adjourned at 2:15 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Chair, Tina Allard Secretary, Jennifer Schreiber
