Any person who violates this ordinance or fails to .complY with any of its requirements shall upon conviction thereof be fined not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500) or imprisoned for not more than ninety (90) days, or both, and in addition shall pay all costs and expenses involved in the case. Each day such violation continues shall be considered a separate offense. Nothing herein contained, including the imposition of a crilninal penalty, shall constitute a waiver of the right of the City or others to secure abatement of violations by injunction or other civil legal remedy. . . 902.58 - Amendments. The floodplain designation on the official maps described in this ordinance shall not be removed from floodplain areas unless it can be shown that the designation is in error. Special exceptions to this rule may be permitted by the Commissioner of Natural Resources if he determines that, through other measures, lands are adequately protected for the intended use. All amendments to this ordinance including amendments to the official maps herein described must be submitted to and approved by the Commissioner of ~;atural Resources prior to adoption. All applicable ~inimum standards set forth in Minnesota Regulations NR 82-~NR 2420 C.6., and ~~ 2420 C.8. are hereby adopted by reference and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein.
