Issued Pennits. Nothing hereIn contaIned shall require any change in plans, <br />constructlon- or designated use of a building or structure for which a building <br />permit has been issued prior to the effective date of this Ordinance, provided, <br />however, that tl~ entire building shall he completed accordin3 to such plans as <br />filed within tw(~nty'-follr (24) months from the date of hsuance of said permit. <br /> <br />12. Status of Varidnces of Conditional Use Permits, If a conditional use permit <br />or a variance htw been granted as provided in this OrdIr.at1ce, it shall not be deemed <br />a nonconformity, but shall without further action bp. deemed pennitted in such <br />district. <br /> <br />13. Nonconfo rml tie:; Crea ted by Amendment. Hhen a nonconfo rmi ty 1 n a structure <br />or use of land or: a structure 1s created by an amemlment to this Ordinance, the <br />rights granted by this section to the continuance of nonconformities and to the <br />termination and amortization apply to such n,mconformitles existing on the date <br />of t~ amendment. <br /> <br />. 900.36 - Zoning Administration. <br /> <br />1. This Ordinance Gha1l be administered and enforc0d hy il Zoning and Building <br />Administrator who shall be appointed by the Council and serve at its discretion. <br />The general powers arrl duties of the Zoning and HuLl ding Administrator shall include <br />the following: <br /> <br />a. Receive and process all applications and rp.quests pertaining to the use <br />of land, buildings and structureEl. <br /> <br />b. Act as the bul lcUng official and review applications for and issue or <br />deny building pe nni ts and certificates of occupancy. <br /> <br />c. Forward applications for I/ariances, condit(onal use permits, petitions, <br />appeals, and plan and ordinance amendments to t:he ;,p propr 1a te of Heial bodies. <br /> <br />d. Inspect buHdings and land to insur~ compliance with applicable permits <br />and the provisions of thi s Ordinance. <br /> <br />e. Maintai.n permanent and current records per~alnIng to the City's land use <br />plan and ordindnces and appltcations, permi ts and crders pertaining thereto <br />inclliding, hut not limited to: builrling permi,-s. certificates of occupancy, <br />conclitional uses, variances, subdivisions, planned unit developments, orders, <br />appeals, nonconforming uses, the zoning map and plan and ordinance. amendments. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />f.
