That § 74-99, Parking in municipal parking lots, of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be amended as follows: (a) The municipal parking lots along the Burlington Northern Railroad are designated for either commuter or public parking. Where posted, time Emits are enforced. (b) The posted employee parking afea within the King A-vefrde parking lot requires etnployee schedule,vehicies to display parking pefffiits as issued by the police chief or his designee. Etnpioyee pafking pem4ts are issued f6f an antydal fee as listed in the cit-y fee and allo employees to park in the designated e"loyee parking area on a first coffie, first served b between 8:00 a.ffi. and 6:00 Monday through Friday. The residents of the "Special ., Distr4ct" ffiay also purchase a total of ftine business pertnits. 4-he Special Distr4ct includes residences in the Br4ek Block, the Cineffia Block, and the Houlton Block. (c) After 6:00 p.m. and until 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, and all day on weekends, the King Avenue parking lot is open to any and all parking. (With the exception of 74-102, "Snow Removal") (d) The north section of the King Avenue lot shall have twenty-six (26) posted spots designated "Designated Snow Removal Parking Only, Nov. 15-April 15, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m." "'ire spots wiU also be posted "Employee pafking opAy pe--it,equ—ed� A! F 8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m." (e) Violations of this section are punishable as provided in section 74-91. SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption and be published as provided by law.
