City of <br />Elk <br />River <br />City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 21-73 <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Authorizing <br />Execution of a Grant Agreement for the Toward Zero Death Program <br />WHEREAS, Be it resolved that the City of Elk River, on behalf of its police department, <br />enter into a grant agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, for traffic <br />safety enforcement projects during the period from October 1, 2021, through September 30, <br />2022;and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Elk River Police Chief, Ron Nierenhausen, is hereby authorized <br />to execute such agreements and amendments as are necessary to implement the project on <br />behalf of the City of Elk River Police Department and to be the fiscal agent and administer <br />the grant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br />River, Minnesota, as follows: The City of Elk River Police Department enter into a Grant <br />Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. <br />Passed and adopted this 1st day of November 2021. <br />J Wietz(f4ayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />row�eEe [ivATUREE] <br />
