Roundtables, Key Stakeholder Interviews
& Small Focus Group Discussions
Roundtables, focus groups, and key stakeholder interviews
provided an opportunity for smaller groups or key indi-
viduals to engage with the planning process in a conver-
sational setting. The main goal of the focus group and
interview formats were to bring out nuanced information
on a topic in finer detail from specific perspectives. The
discussion structure of the focus groups allowed for insight
to be gleaned that may not be in a larger workshop setting.
A total of 10 key stakeholder interviews were conducted as
part of the outreach process. Additionally, 31 individuals
participated in focus group meetings, including:
Elected/Appointed Officials Roundtable
• Department Heads Workshop
• Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC)
Workshops
Business Workshop
On September 9, 2020, a virtual Business Workshop was
hosted.
