M <br />Organization of the Plan <br />The comprehensive plan is organized into the following nine chapters: <br />Chapter I: Introduction <br />Introduces the comprehensive plan's purpose, • <br />process, and organization. <br />Chapter 2: Community Context <br />Provides an overview of important background <br />information including demographic makeup, <br />housing and economic analysis, existing land <br />use, current zoning, and summary of commu- <br />nity outreach conducted. <br />Chapter 3: Land Use Plan <br />Is intended to ensure future development is <br />compatible with the community's vision. The <br />Land Use Plan provides the foundation for <br />recommendations made in the subsequent <br />chapters. <br />Chapter 4: Housing Plan <br />Provides detailed policies and recommendation <br />for residential neighborhoods in the city with a <br />focus on housing options, access, and preserva- <br />tion. <br />Chapter 5: Economic <br />14 Development Plan <br />Presents specific actions and recommenda- <br />tions to leverage opportunities for economic <br />development in the city's commercial corridors <br />and neighborhoods.
