Recent developments/upgrades on the Economic Gateway Platform Our development team has been working hard and as usual every quarter, they strive to bring you cutting edge updates and new tools for your website, this time focusing on many different areas. The most recent features developed are: ●Site Export Functionality: Functionality to gather all database and file content for an Economic Gateway site and provide it as a download for back-up purposes was built. Clients can now request such a backup from their GateKeeper rep at need. ●Custom Forms Upgrades: The ability to include labels (inserted text which is not an input field) has been added to the custom forms module. The ability to include fields for fIle uploads from users has been added to the custom forms module. (Maximum file upload size permitted is approx. 120MB). ●CKEditor Styles: CKEditor in the admin has been upgraded to show in the text editor the custom styles from the front-end of a website. This helps give a clearer sense of what the content being styled will look like. ●FAQ Upgrade: The FAQ template has been upgraded to include a Quick Search field, which allows users to dynamically filter the List Maker content on the page by typing in keywords. ●Soft Deletion: Modules which incorporate public submission forms (Business Directory, Events, Jobs, News, People, Resources, Real Estate) have been upgraded to include 'soft delete' functionality. This means that listings which are deleted are moved to a 'deleted' section and there can be either restored or permanently deleted. (This is a first step in the process of creating mass-deletion functionality, to facilitate clean-up of spam submissions which sometimes happen when using public submission forms.) ●News Mass Deletion: The News module now supports mass deletion. A deletion icon is available for each article on the View All page for the module. Clicking it flags the article for deletion and removes it from the main list of articles for the site (and from the front end of the site). All articles flagged for deletion can then be reviewed in the Deleted section to double-check that they are to be removed, and then deleted in a single process. ●For the convenience of our site admins, a link to the front end of the site being worked on is now available at the upper right corner of the admin.
