In
addition to the newsletter topics, other posts you may see in September and October
include: National Drive Electric Week featuring our local EV-ER: Electric Vehicles in Elk
River event, and a series of posts highlighting Public Power Week.

In honor of Public Power Week and Customer Service Week, our communications
coordinator put together a short video to highlight public power and celebrate our
dedicated staff and commissioners who provide exceptional serviceto our customers. A
link to the video is provided below.
The administrations department continues to work on a records management project
relating to our utilities commission packets and meeting minutes, which are both
considered permanent records. Staff is working to ensure that all of our older
documents, which are currently paper, are scanned in and saved electronically.

After evaluation of our current utilities conference room furniture, we have determined
that a different style table would better suit our needs. Staff is in the process of getting
quotes for the project.

ATTACHMENTS:
Bill Insert – Current Newsletter Fall 2021
Video Link – 2021 Public Power Week and Customer Service Week
______________________________________________________________________________
Page 1 of 1
89
