GENERAL. <br /> <br />All signs hereafter erected or maintained shall conform with the <br />provisions of this section and other ordinances and regulations <br />of the City. <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />PERMITS REQUIRED <br /> <br />Unless otherwise provided by this Section, all signs <br />shall require permits and payment of fees as described <br />in paragraph 7 of this Section. No permit is required <br />for the maintenance of a sign or for a change of copy <br />on printed, or changeable copy signs. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />PROHIB!!ED SIGNS <br /> <br />The following types of signs are prohibited in all <br />districts: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Abandoned <br />advertise <br />product, <br />owner can <br /> <br />signs which no longer identify or <br />a bona fide business, service, <br />or activity or for which no legal <br />be found. <br /> <br />(ii) Banners, pennants, festoons, and search- <br />lights except as a permitted temporary <br />special event sign under under section 4a (vii). <br />
