<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 87 - 22 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE FINE FOR <br />MISDEMEANOR VIOLATIONS TO $799 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River ordains as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 119.92 of the 1982 Code of Ordinances <br />of the City of Elk River is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />119.92 - Misdemeanors. Unless another penalty is <br />expressly provided in this code, any person violating any <br />provision of this code or any rule or regulation adopted pursuant <br />thereto, or any other provision of any code adopted in this code <br />by reference, including any provision declaring an act or <br />omission to be a misdemeanor, shall, upon conviction, be subject <br />to a fine of not more than Seven Hundred Dollars ($799.99) or <br />imprisonment for a term not to exceed ninety (99) days, or both <br />plus, in either case, the costs of prosecution. <br /> <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective upon <br />publication and shall apply to all offenses committed on or after <br />the effective date of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this 18th day of <br />May, 1987. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />1;ene Schuldt, Vice Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />g~ l?
