<br />ORDINANCE 84-1 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 102.06 of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances titled, <br />"City Administrator" be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />102.06 - City Administrator. <br />chief administrative <br />and responsibilities <br /> <br />The word "City Administrator" shall mean the City's <br />official appointed by the City Council with duties <br />per Section 202.02 of this Code. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Section 200.04 of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances titled, <br />"Minutes", Sub. 1 - Minutes Recorded, and Sub. 2 - Approval, be amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />200.04 - Minutes. <br /> <br />1. Minutes Recorded. Minutes of each Council meeting shall be kept by <br />the City Clerk, or the City Clerk's designee. In the absence of both, <br />the presiding officer shall appoint a secretary pro tem. Ordinances, <br />resolutions, and claims need not be recorded in full in the minutes <br />if they appear in other permanent records of the City Clerk and can be <br />accurately identified from the description given in the minutes. <br /> <br />2. Approval. The minutes of each meeting shall be reduced to type- <br />written form, shall be signed by the City Clerk, and copies thereof <br />shall be delivered to each Council member as soon as practicable after <br />the meeting. At the next regular Council meeting following such delivery, <br />approval of the minutes shall be considered by the Council. The minutes <br />need no.t be read aloud, but the presiding officer shall call for any ad- <br />ditions or corrections. If there is no objection to a proposed addition <br />or correction, it may be made without a vote of the Council. If there <br />is an objection, the Council shall vote upon the addition or correction. <br />If there are no additions or corrections, the minutes shall stand approved. <br /> <br />Section 3. That Section 200.10 of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances titled, <br />"Ordinances, Resolutions, Motions, Petitions and Communications, Sub. 2 - Signing and <br />Publication Proof, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />200.10 - Ordinances, Resolutions, Motions, Petitions and Communications. <br />( <br /> <br />2. Signing and Publication Proof. Every ordinance and resolution passed <br />by the Council shall be signed by the Mayor, attested by the City Clerk, <br />and filed by the City Clerk in the ordinance or resolution book. Proof <br />of publication of every ordinance shall be attached and filed with the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 4. That Section 202.02 of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances titled, <br />"City Administrator" Sub. 2 - General Duties, be amended to read as follows: <br />
