. . . I I i i ORDINANCE 88 - 25 AN ORDINANCE A*ENDING SECTION 900.20 - GENERAL REGULATIONS I The City Council ~f the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: Section 1. t. That Section 900.20 of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinan e titled, "General Regulations" be amended to read as follows: . I I 13. Model omes Model homes are limited to marketing homes n the subdivision in which they are situated or the comcept represented by those models. Model homes may no* be used for marketing formerly occupied homes or loti.. in other subdivisions. The inside and outside appeara ce must remain as a home. No sales staff shall be per anently officed out of a model home. However, sales . taff may hold meetings in a model home and someone;.. to staff the model full time is allowed. Model homes . ay have a maximum of 32 sq. ft. of signage that represe ts the structure as a model home, not a real estateloffice, the lighting of which must be directed away flom neighboring residences and rights-of-way. The ho*rs that a model home may be opened to the pUbliclare from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Model homes must b, have a hardsurfaced parking area capable of handlin~ four cars which can include driveways and garage I stalls. Model homes will be allowed to be used models t. for maximum of three years from the date of final . lat approval for the plat in which they lie unless. an extent ion is granted by the City Council.
