Participates in safety training. <br /> <br />Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities <br /> Skilled in the operation of all types of multimedia production equipment and software <br />applications to include video and digital cameras, audio equipment, editing equipment, <br />recording equipment, lighting, and related equipment. <br /> Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premier Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and <br />Photoshop and in Office 365. <br /> Skilled in writing and editing that include close attention to proper spelling, grammar, and <br />use of language. <br /> Ability to work flexible schedule as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. <br /> Ability to obtain drone certification. <br /> Ability to understand and follow ADA requirements and accessibility standards related to <br />this position. <br /> Ability to lift and carry equipment of light to moderate weight up to 40 pounds. <br /> Ability to present a positive and professional image of the city to the public. <br /> Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with city staff, City Council, <br />boards and commissions and the public. <br /> <br />Minimum Qualifications <br /> Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework or degree <br />in multimedia technology/production, television, and film communication, graphic or <br />commercial arts or related field and one year of multimedia experience or four years of a <br />combination of training and/or experience which evidences a comprehensive knowledge of <br />required job duties and expectations. <br /> Two years of experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premier Pro, After <br />Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. <br /> Valid driver’s license and good driving record. <br /> <br />Preferred Qualifications <br /> Additional years of multimedia experience. <br /> Animation and graphic design skills. <br /> Experience in the operation of government organizations. <br /> Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premier Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and <br />Photoshop. <br />Multimedia Specialist <br />Page 2 <br />
