<br />~ <br /> <br />Project and relocation of the park-and-ride lot (Appendix 7). The City of Big Lake <br />has expressed interest in partnering with the NCDA to explore options for trans1t <br />oriented development around the new station location. <br /> <br />XII. Federal Railroad Administration Coordination <br /> <br />On June 30,2005 NPO staff met with Paul Comstock, from the local office of the <br />Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). Mr. Comstock confirmed that FRA has <br />the oversight role for commuter rail operations on BNSF track. He-also <br />confirmed that BNSF adopted and adheres to the General Code of Operating <br />Rules (GCOR). FRA staff will review design submittals of track & signals and <br />stations at the 60%, 90%, and 100% completion levels. FRA staff will also <br />review passenger equipment specifications. Mr. Comstock asked NPO staff to <br />invite Mr. Laurance Hasvold, FRA's Regional Administrator to an upcoming <br />meeting with FT A staff in Chicago to better familiarize him with the project. <br /> <br />XIII.
