Agreement for Professional Services (Contract No. 2003-0265) At its July 7,2005 meeting, the NCDA approved Amendment #4 to the Richardson, Richter & Associates, Inc. (RRA) Agreement for professional services increasing the contract amount by an additional $116,300.00. During discussion on the action for this amendment, an NCDA member noticed an error in the analysis and justification for the amendment to the RRA contract. The action taken by the Board reduced RRA's request of an additional $126,300.00 by $10,000.00. After review, staff are recommending that the RRA contract be amended to include the amount requested of $126,300.00. The analysis and justification for the amendment to the RRA contract reads as follows: Original Contract Amount for 2005: Estimated cost increase for additional RRA hours: Receptionist/Secretarial Services at NPO: New 2005 Amended Contract Amount: $325,000.00 $104,374.25 $ 22,000.00 $451,300.00 $126,300.00 2005 Contract Amendment Amount Requested: Action ReQuested: That the Executive Committee / Capital Budget Committee recommend that the NCDA rescind the action taken at the July 7, 2005 meeting approving Amendment #4 which increased the contract amount by $116,300.00 and authorize the Chair to negotiate and execute Amendment #4 to the Richardson, Richter & Associates, Inc. agreement for professional services increasing the contract amount by an additional $126,300.00.
