<br /> <br />uiJ&@t2irfJ!J~7J!iJ[XJ <br />@@[XJ!!2[J!W@[XJ <br /> <br />Executive Committee / Capital Budget Committee Agenda Item #5 <br />NCDA Agenda Item #2c <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />July 28, 2005 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Executive Committee / Capital Budget Committee <br />Northstar Corridor Development Authority <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Staff <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Amendment #3 to Professional and Technical Services Agreement with Laidlaw <br />Transit Services, Inc. <br /> <br />At its June 2, 2005 meeting, the Northstar Corridor Development Authority (NCDA) agreed to <br />continue funding for the Northstar Commuter Bus for one year, from October 1, 2005 through <br />September 30, 2006. <br /> <br />In order to continue the bus service for another year, it is recommended that the NCDA amend <br />the agreement (2003-0199) between Laidlaw Transit Services, Inc.. (the commuter bus service <br />provider) and the NCDA for operating services October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006, <br />not to exceed $1.209.743 for services provided for this term. <br /> <br />Action ReQuested: <br /> <br />That the Executive Committee/Capital Budget Committee recommend <br />that the NCDA authorize the Chair to finalize negotiations and execute <br />Amendment #3 between Laidlaw Transit Services, Inc. and the NCDA <br />for operating services October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 <br />and a contract amount of $1 ,209,743 for these services. <br /> <br />Northstar Corridor Development Authority <br />21003' Avenue.
