If someone came to use with concerns about our son's conduct pertaining to our dogs and training,
etc. I can assure you we would not respond with "Oh, that's why they are so aggressive". We are
pitbull advocates. In the past a neighbor child thought it was funny to watch the dogs run over one
of our elderly dogs because she would bark at them. We informed him of what his conduct was
doing to the dogs (he has autism) and his conduct changed completely. He is now the proud owner
of his own escape artist Max.
When the dogs got out, Stephanie was laughing when she came to our door and our gate was
reinforced the same day. The dog who opened the gate has been rehomed and since passed away.
There have been no incidents since.
The cat. I am going to address this because this ties directly to a stigma that is not true. We have
actually had three cats, three guinea pigs and four hamsters here in our home with our dogs and
never a dead cat. Yes, our dog found a FROZEN cat in our backyard one morning. It was the
neighbor boy's girlfriend's cat. The applicant let Vicki know and at the time, she chocked it up to
Marie not letting the cat in at night. If our dogs had killed the cat, we would have known the night
before when it happened and they were busy with that instead of coming in. I have several photos
