<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 91 - 18 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 900.08 - DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as <br />follows: <br /> <br />section 1. That Section 900.08 of the Elk River Code of <br />Ordinances titled "Definitions" be amended to have the <br />definition for Home Occupation read as follows: <br /> <br />Home Occupation: Any gainful occupation or profession <br />customarily conducted entirely within a dwelling principally by <br />members of a family residing therein which use is clearly <br />incidental and secondary to the use of the dwelling for <br />residential purposes and does not change the character thereof. <br /> <br />There are two types of home occupations i "Permi tted Home <br />Occupations", which are processed administratively fOllowing a <br />certain set of criteria and "Conditional Home Occupations", <br />which do not meet the specific criteria for a permitted home <br />occupation and require a public hearing pursuant to the <br />procedures and standards of a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Section 2.
