Description of businesses

Titan Industries LLC
Titan industries LLC is a single member LLC I started on 01/30/2017. I originally ran as Titan
Concrete (sole proprietorship) since 2008. Once we grew I decided it was in my best interest to
form an LLC. My intentions were to run Titan Industries as a parent company and branch other
businesses as a DBA of Titan Industries. I am not looking for any funding for this business

Mystery Chambers
Mystery Chambers was an existing business I purchased 04/15/2018 . Mystery Chambers is an
escape room with a brick and mortar location at 654 Main Street Elk river, MN 55376. The
original owners ran this as a sole proprietorship. When I purchased, I started an LLC with the
state as Mystery Chambers LLC on 04/20/2018 with the intentions of hiring. We never ended up
hiring and this business has always been ran by myself and my wife. We have never needed to
use the EIN number for payroll since we do not have employees. Since there are not
employees, we are able to legally treat it as a sole proprietorship on our taxes and just get taxed
on our net earnings (See below, direct from the IRS website).

We have recently filed an amendment to our taxes to use our EIN. After we mailed in the
documentation for this, I called the IRS to get an estimated time for this to show up on my
return. They said it can take several months as they are behind and short handed. We are not in
a position to wait several months for funding to keep us in business. We have been hit
extremely hard with the covid shutdowns. We have taken an 89 percent hit in revenue from
2019 to 2020. We are currently open with one room running and have 2 new rooms ready to
open. I have full confidence that once we are caught up, we can stay on track and produce
enough revenue to keep business going. We have great reviews and people really enjoy our
business.

https://www.irs.gov/businesses/small-businesses-self-employed/single-member-limited-li
ability-companies

Owner of Single-Member LLC
If a single-member LLC does not elect to be treated as a corporation, the LLC is a
"disregarded entity," and the LLC's activities should be reflected on its owner's federal
tax return. An individual owner of a single-member LLC that operates a trade or
business is subject to the tax on net earnings from self employment in the same manner
as a sole proprietorship.
