UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO:FROM: <br />ERMU CommissionChris Kerzman– Engineering Manager <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />April 13, 20216.1k <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> The IT/OT Technician is continuing to work with City of Elk River IT staff to plan for main <br />networking equipment replacementsand is completing projects to prepare our servers <br />for the City’s replacements. Staffis also assisting with water department cybersecurity <br />analysis. <br />I am visiting the factory during the week of April 12for final witness testing and <br />inspection of the power plant transformer. We are expecting to receive the transformer <br />during the week of April 19. Preparation for the installation has been going well. <br /> <br /> Staff is beginning to plan for the replacement of substation metering to allow for better <br />alarm systems and communication. <br /> <br /> Updates on the Field Services Facility Expansion Project will be under a different agenda <br />item for the remainder of the project. <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />530 <br />
