UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO:FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Thomas Geiser – Operations Director <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />April 13, 2021 6.1g <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> Staff continues to meet with T2 Utility Engineers, WSB Engineering, and MnDOT for the <br />upcoming Highway 169 Redefine project. Permits have also been sent to MnDOT and we <br />are waitingonapproval so we can start constructionassoon as possible. <br /> Staff has met with the County and Bolton & Menk, Inc. to review 60% plans for the <br />County Road 13 Project, which will bring roundabouts to Line Avenueand Tyler Street. <br />Staff is also working with the County on the tree removals required to relocate the line. <br /> <br /> Working with the owners of the refuse-derived fuel processing plant and Great River <br />Energy (GRE) to make the transition from GRE’s 69-kilovolt transmission line to ERMU’s <br />distribution grid. <br /> <br /> Coordinating the timing of taking down streetlights from Proctor Road to Lowell Avenue <br />for the Highway 10 reconstruction project with MnDOT. This project starts April 19. <br /> <br /> Work on the County Road 39 roundabouts in Otsego starts back up on April 12.
