<br />A-1 <br />APPENDIX A <br /> <br /> <br />A.1 Regular Full Time Police Officer/Wage Rates - 1/1/21 – 12/31/22 <br /> The wage rates listed below shall be used for purposes of calculating Overtime, <br />holiday pay, incentive pay, and other items that rely on a base wage rate. <br /> <br /> Regular Full Time Police Officer Wage Rates: <br /> 1/1/21 <br />Step 1 $ 28.46 <br />Step 2 32.84 <br />Step 3 37.25 <br /> Step 4 41.69 <br /> <br />Employees move to the next step in the plan following twelve (12) months of <br />continuous employment. <br /> <br />The Employer has discretion, when experience and qualifications indicate, to hire at <br />any pay step deemed appropriate. <br /> <br />Pay steps shall increase based on the following: <br /> July 1, 2021 – Market adjustment to top 30% of peer city contracts not to <br />exceed 0.5% retroactive to January 1, 2021. <br />January 1, 2022 – 3% general wage increase. <br />July 1, 2022 – Market adjustment to top 30% of peer city contracts applied in <br />0.25% increments not to exceed 1.5% retroactive to January 1, 2022. <br /> <br />A.2 Adult Detective, Juvenile Detective, Drug Task Force Detective <br /> Compensation for individuals assigned to duties of the listed positions shall be at the <br />rate of 4.5% above the base rate of pay. <br /> <br />A.3 Insurance Contribution <br /> The Employer agrees to provide a combined payment of wage and insurance <br />benefits to regular full time Employees. For computation of various benefits <br />pursuant to this Agreement, Union Employees will participate in and receive the <br />same insurance benefits as the City’s non-union employees. <br /> <br />A.4 Post Employment Health Care Savings Plan <br /> Effective following the signing of this contract, Employees shall contribute to the <br />Post Employment Health Care Savings Plan in the following manner: <br /> <br /> Beginning of employment through 5 years – 1.5% of Employee’s hourly base wage <br /> Years 6 through 10 – 1.75% of Employee’s hourly base wage <br /> Years 11 and beyond – 2.00% of Employee’s hourly base wage
