COMMISSION POLICY <br />Section:Category: <br />GovernanceCommission Management ConnectionPolicies <br />Policy Reference:Policy Title: <br />Monitoring Performance of the General <br />G.3d <br />Manager <br />PURPOSE: <br />With this policy, the Commission describes the manner in which it will routinely monitor the <br />performance of the General Manager. <br />POLICY: <br />job performance. The performance of the General Manager will be measured by comparing <br />Results Policies <br />Delegation to Management Policies, and consistent with Authority and Purpose Policies. <br />Consistent with this general statement: <br />1. Monitoring is the periodic review of objective, relevant, timely and accurate information that <br />allows the Commission to determine the extent to which Commission policies are being <br />carried out. Information that does not do this is not considered monitoring information and <br />should not be a focus of the Commission. <br />2. The Commission will acquire the monitoring information it needs by either or both of the <br />following methods: <br />a. By internal report, in which the General Manager provides compliance information <br />directly to the Commission. <br />b.
