T.ighting shall meet the standards of Section 30-937. <br />2. Satisfaction of all comments in the Comment Letter dated January 8, 2021. <br />Background/Discussion <br />The properq is zoned RI-c where Commercial Recreation Facilities <br />require a Conditional Use Permit (CUP). <br />The applicant is seeking a CUP to replace the existing Elk River High <br />School stadium, including a synthetic turf field, new track, new visitor <br />and home bleachers, a new ticketing and concessions building, new <br />storage and team room buildings, realignment of existing fields north <br />of the stadium, and resurfacing a portion of the west elevation of the <br />existing Elk River High School building at the decommissioned dock. <br />For the project to be competed, several variances are required, which <br />the applicant has applied for (V 21-01). <br />Applicable Regulations <br />In approving a Conditional Use Permit, the council may impose such <br />specific conditions with regard to the development or operation of the <br />proposed use as it considers necessary to satisfy the seven standards <br />set forth 111 Section 30-654 and the requirements contained in this <br />article, and to promote compatibility with and minimize any <br />potentially adverse effects upon adjacent properties, the neighborhood <br />or the city. <br />The Elk River Vision <br />A. ivelcoming community ivith aervlutionag and spirited aesouirefulness, exceeephwal <br />service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires pinspenty. <br />CR 33 <br />RR <br />Hwy 10 <br />Figure I <br />P0WfREo0r <br />NAWpE <br />C_ tdiakd..- Auguxl 2020 <br />
